Michael Ciz has a strong background in civil engineering and technical roles. Michael began their career in 2012 with Stantec as a Materials and Testing technician, where they gained experience in geotechnical testing. Michael then moved on to Pacer Construction Corporation, where they served as a Surveyor and Civil 3D Drafter, conducting various layout and estimating tasks. Michael later joined Marine Contracting as a Surveyor before returning to Pacer Construction Corporation as a Civil 3D Drafter. At Pacer, they continued to work on layout and estimation projects using GPS and total station equipment. In 2014, Michael joined Stantec again, this time as a Lab Technician, focusing on testing and quality control for concrete, asphalt, and aggregates across multiple sites. Michael'sresponsibilities included conducting various tests and adhering to industry standards. After their tenure at Stantec, they worked with the City of Winnipeg as a Technologist before joining Dillon Consulting Limited as a Civil Engineering Technologist in 2022.
Michael Ciz attended the College of the North Atlantic from 2009 to 2012. During this time, they obtained a Civil Engineering Technologist Diploma, specializing in Civil Engineering Technology/Technician.
