Andreas Gabel

Andreas Gabel has extensive experience in various leadership roles in the retail and consumer goods industry. Andreas is currently serving as the Vice President at DIM since 2022. Prior to that, they worked as a Vice President at Hanesbrands Inc. from 2018 to 2022, where they also held the position of Country Cluster Manager D-A-CH & Eastern Countries from 2016 to 2018. Before their time at Hanesbrands Inc., Andreas was the Chief Commercial Officer Continental Europe at ARYZTA from 2014 to 2016. Andreas also gained valuable experience as the Sales Director Germany at Wrigley from 2006 to 2014 and as the Key Account Director at Lindt & Sprüngli from 1997 to 2006. Andreas began their career as a Sales representative at Melitta in 1994 and as an Area Sales Manager at ALDI Nord from 1993 to 1994.

Andreas Gabel obtained a Master's Degree in Business Administration from the University of Bremen, graduating in 1993. Prior to that, they completed an apprenticeship as a Management Assistant in Wholesale and Foreign Trade at Friedrich A. Flamme GmbH & from 1986 to 1988, earning an Associate's Degree. In 2023, Andreas Gabel obtained a certification in Finance for Non-Finance Executives from the London Business School.
