Somayeh Rezayi currently serves as an Architectural Designer at DiMella Shaffer since January 2022. Previously, Somayeh worked as an Architect and Urban Planner at UNESCO, focusing on the Preservation and Promotion of the Bamiyan Valley through Culture-Oriented Sustainable Development from September 2020 to December 2021. This role involved enhancing the capacity of the Afghan government in managing archaeological remains and cultural landscapes. Prior experience includes working as an Architect on the Kabul River Front Transformation project with the Aga Khan Foundation, which aimed to improve urban infrastructure while considering historical heritage and socio-economic factors. Additional experience includes a position as an Architect at Persian Garden Design Studio. Somayeh holds a Master of Architecture in Urban Design from Harvard University Graduate School of Design and a Master of Architecture and Bachelor of Architecture from Tarbiat Modares University and Hakim Sabzevari University, respectively.
