Douglas Hernandes has a diverse work experience that spans over several years. Douglas started their career in 2007 at General Motors as a Product Engineer and Dimensional Engineer, where they were responsible for various aspects of plastic and metallic parts development. Douglas also served as the Dimensional Engineering Lead, approving GD&T strategies for parts.
In 2012, Douglas joined Hyundai Motor Brasil as a Purchasing & Parts Development Senior Supervisor, overseeing the procurement and development of parts. Douglas held this position until 2017.
In 2018, Douglas worked as an Engineering Project Lead at ALTEN LTD - UK, where they managed engineering projects for the company.
Douglas then joined McLaren Automotive Ltd in 2019, serving as a Supplier Quality Senior Engineer until 2023.
Currently, Douglas works at Dimensional Control Systems as the Dimensional Integration Lead for General Motors.
Douglas Hernandes obtained their Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from the Universidade Estadual Paulista Júlio de Mesquita Filho, where they studied from 2002 to 2007. Following this, they pursued further education and completed their Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Business Management from the USP - Universidade de São Paulo from 2016 to 2017.
