Shaina McGillis

Shaina McGillis has a diverse range of work experience in various industries. In 2018, they worked as a Student Mentor and Host at Butler University. Shaina then gained experience as a Sales Associate at Nike in 2019, where they effectively communicated product information and supported the product supply line. Later in 2019, they interned as an Industrial Engineering Intern at DXL Group, where they contributed to labor standard development and optimized labor through the use of a Labor Management System. In 2020, they worked as an Engineering Intern at FedEx Ground, where they evaluated sort productivity and implemented new processes to increase overall throughput. In 2021, they worked as a Supply Chain Intern at PepsiCo, where they developed an adaptable Operations & Maintenance manual and collaborated with stakeholders to ensure compliance with headquarters standards. Currently, they are working as a Business Intelligence Analyst at Dimensional Insight.

Shaina McGillis began their education at Franklin High School, where they completed their secondary education from 2013 to 2017. Following high school, they attended Butler University from 2017 to 2018, focusing on Dance Arts Administration. In 2018, they transferred to the University of Massachusetts Amherst, where they pursued a Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering with a minor in Engineering Management. Shaina successfully completed their undergraduate studies at UMass Amherst in 2021. Additionally, they obtained a Six Sigma Green Belt certification from the Institute of Industrial and Systems Engineers in January 2021.
