Colin Perkins is an experienced professional in the field of safeguarding and probation services, currently serving as the Diocesan Safeguarding Adviser for the Diocese of Chichester since May 2011. Prior to this role, Colin Perkins held various positions at Surrey and Sussex Probation Trust, including Acting Senior Probation Officer and Quality Development Officer, from October 2009 to May 2011. Colin Perkins' earlier experience includes serving as a Probation Officer within both the Multi-Agency Gang Unit and the Public Protection Team at West Midlands Probation Trust from September 2002 to September 2009. Educational qualifications include a Master's degree in Advanced Child Protection from the University of Kent (2013-2014), a Post-Graduate Certificate in Forensic Behavioural Psychology from the University of Central Lancashire/CEOP Academy (2011), a Post Graduate Certificate in Conflict Resolution Skills from the University of Coventry (2008), and a BA (Hons) in Community Justice from The University of Birmingham (2000-2002).
