Gregory Coogan currently serves as the Secretary for Catechetical Formation at the Diocese of Cleveland, a position held since October 2019. Prior to this role, Gregory was the Director of Youth, Young Adult & Campus Ministries at the Diocese of Camden from August 2011 to October 2019. Gregory's experience in ministry includes serving as the Young Adult Ministry Coordinator for the Diocese of Buffalo, and various campus minister roles at The Newman Center at the University at Buffalo, St. Mary's High School, and St. Joseph University Parish. Educational qualifications include a Master of Arts in Pastoral Ministry from The Washington Theological Union, a Certificate in Philosophical & Theological Studies from St. John's University, and a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science with a focus on Urban Studies from Canisius University.
