Michael Cummins

Michael Cummins has been a prominent figure in the Diocese of Knoxville since July 1998, serving various roles including Pastor of St. Dominic Church and St. Mary Church in Athens, TN, as well as Diocesan Vocation Director and Chaplain for multiple Catholic student centers. Prior to this, Cummins was engaged as High School Chaplain/Teacher and Diocesan Director of Youth Ministry at Knoxville Catholic High School and the Diocese of Knoxville, and as Associate Pastor at All Saints Catholic Church. Educationally, Cummins obtained a Master's degree and Licentiate in Sacred Theology from the University of Saint Mary of the Lake between 1991 and 1995, after earning a Bachelor's degree in Sociology from Conception Seminary College from 1989 to 1991.
