Thomas Marten

Thomas Marten currently serves as a Seminarian at the Diocese of Springfield in Illinois since June 2022. Prior to this role, Thomas was the Executive Director at Angus Foundation from December 2019 to June 2022, and held dual positions as Director of the FarmHouse Excellence Fund and Director of Advancement at The FarmHouse Foundation between April 2017 and December 2019, focusing on donor relations and philanthropic support. Thomas also served as Executive Director for the Stark County Farm Bureau® and Foundation from August 2015 to April 2017, where key achievements included developing a regional economic plan and organizing award-winning community tours. Earlier positions included administrative roles at Southern Illinois University and a social media internship at the Illinois Corn Marketing Board. Thomas holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Agricultural Systems with minors in Environmental Studies and Plant & Soil Science from Southern Illinois University, Carbondale, obtained in 2012.
