Braeden Lortz

Braeden Lortz is a director of land acquisition at Diode Ventures, a Black & Veatch Company, since January 2023, specializing in siting and acquiring land for renewable energy projects and data centers. Previously, Lortz served as a senior land acquisition manager at juwi Inc. from February 2019 to January 2023, overseeing negotiations for utility-scale solar land rights and acquiring over 3GW of land for solar and battery projects across the United States. Earlier experience includes roles as a petroleum landman at Haggard Land Company, Kachina Exploration, and Texhoma Land Consultants, where Lortz developed expertise in lease negotiation, title review, and data research. Lortz holds a bachelor's degree in economics and a minor in history from the University of Oklahoma, completed in 2015.
