David Kao has a diverse work experience spanning multiple companies and roles. David started their career at Texas Instruments in 1996, where they worked as a Test Engineer and later as a Test Manager, overseeing the development of production test solutions for various products. David then became a Product Test Manager, managing an engineering team working on consumer and industrial products. In 2012, they joined Diodes Inc as a BU Manager. In 2013, they also became involved with the Chinese Institute of Engineers/USA-DFW Chapter, serving in various leadership roles, including Chairman of the Board. In 2018, they took on the role of Chairman at the DFW Asian American Citizen Council.
David Kao completed their bachelor's degree in Physics at National Tsing Hua University. David then pursued a master's degree in electrical engineering with a focus on EE and CREOL at the University of Central Florida from 1990 to 1992. Following this, they furthered their education and obtained a Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering from Texas A&M University between 1992 and 1996.
