Richard Lin

General Manager Of Worldwide ACDC Power Business Unit at Diodes

Richard Lin has a diverse range of work experience in the semiconductor industry. Richard started their career in 1995 as a Field Applications Engineering Manager at Cirrus Logic, where they worked for three years. Richard then joined Analog Devices in 2001, initially as a Regional Marketing Manager and FAE Manager, before becoming a Segment Sales Manager and later a Senior Account Manager. In 2008, they moved to NXP as a Senior Regional Marketing Manager, where they stayed until 2013. Since then, they have been with Diodes Incorporated, holding several leadership positions. Richard served as the General Manager of the Worldwide Power Management Business Unit from 2014 to 2015, the General Manager of the Worldwide Standard Linear and Logic Business Unit from 2013 to 2018, and is currently the General Manager of the Worldwide ACDC Power Business Unit. In these roles, Richard has been responsible for P&L management, driving business growth, managing worldwide marketing and engineering organizations, defining product roadmaps, developing marketing strategies, and achieving profitable revenue growth and design-wins.

Richard Lin completed a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering at National Taiwan University from 1987 to 1991. Richard then pursued a Master's degree in Electrical Engineering at the University of Southern California from 1992 to 1993.
