Francesco Improta

Francesco Improta is a seasoned Senior Product Designer at the Italian Department of Digital Transformation since March 2022, where management of relationships with technical suppliers and contributions to design systems are key responsibilities. As a lecturer at UXUniversity since July 2015, Francesco conducts immersive workshops focusing on Design Systems and Atomic Design. Previous experience includes senior design roles at HCL Software, where collaboration with product owners and engineers optimized the user experience for BigFix, and as Head of Design at Citynews s.p.a., where Francesco directed the Product Design team and modernized workflows. Francesco founded Designabile, offering comprehensive UX and UI design services to notable clients such as Enel and Ferrari, and has held various design positions across multiple companies since 2006. Francesco holds a Bachelor's degree in Communication Sciences from Università LUMSA and studied at Universitat d'Alacant.
