Hendry Newman

Hendry Newman has a diverse work experience spanning multiple companies and roles. Hendry most recently worked at Dirac as a DSP Audio Software Engineer starting in December 2022. Before that, they were employed at Qualcomm from May 2019 to November 2022, where they held the position of Senior Engineer-Audio DSP. Prior to that, Hendry worked at L&T Technology Services Limited, starting as an Associate Engineer in August 2016 and later transitioning to the role of Engineer in August 2017. Hendry remained with the company until May 2019. Hendry's earliest work experience was as a Graduate Teaching Assistant at IIITDM, Kancheepuram, where they worked from August 2014 to July 2016.

Hendry Newman completed a Master of Design (M. Des.) degree at the Indian Institute of Information Technology Design & Manufacturing Kancheepuram from 2014 to 2016. During this time, they studied communication and product design. Prior to that, they obtained an Engineer's Degree in Electronics and Communications Engineering from Trichy Engineering College, Anna University, from 2009 to 2013. In addition to their formal education, Hendry has also obtained certifications in various subjects, including Noise Management and Control from NPTEL in July 2018, An Introduction to Interactive Programming in Python (Part 1) from Coursera Course Certificates in October 2015, and Learning How to Learn: Powerful mental tools to help you master tough subjects from Coursera Course Certificates in August 2015. Hendry also holds edX Honor Code Certificates for courses on Embedded Systems - Shape the World and Introduction to Computer Science and Programming Using Python.
