Ira Berke

Ira Berke has a diverse work experience in the healthcare industry. Ira is currently serving as the Chief Development Officer at Direct Access since February 2021. Prior to this, they worked at Berke Consulting Group as the Managing Partner starting from September 2009. From April 2016 to February 2021, they held the position of CEO/Partner at CareCentric Group, a care management support company that was acquired by Direct Access. Ira also has experience as a Healthcare Consultant at Boyne Capital Partners from December 2013 to April 2016. Earlier in their career, they served as an Executive/Partner at MedExpress, a privately held urgent care company, from June 2002 to September 2009. Ira was also the Chief Executive Officer/Partner at Therapy Centers of Florida, a Comprehensive Outpatient Rehabilitation Facility (CORF), from October 2000 to June 2002. Ira began their career as a Director at Tenet Healthcare from July 1997 to October 2000.

Ira Berke holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Exercise Physiology from the University of Maryland, which they obtained in the years 1990 to 1994. Ira further pursued their education at the same institution, completing a Master of Public Health degree from 1995 to 1997.
