Israel Segundo

Israel Segundo has a diverse work experience spanning over several companies and roles. Israel most recently worked as a Senior Java Software Engineer at Direct Commerce starting in October 2022. Prior to that, they worked at Globant as a Senior Software Engineer from May 2021 to September 2022.

Before their time at Direct Commerce and Globant, Israel worked at Amazon as a Software Developer from September 2019 to February 2021. Here, they focused on building infrastructure to aid in the continuous delivery of internal web applications and mobile apps, with a particular emphasis on enabling automated testing of user interfaces and web services.

Prior to Amazon, Israel held positions at Oracle and Nybble Consulting Services. At Oracle, they worked as a Principal Software Engineer and Senior Member of Technical Staff from June 2011 to August 2019. Israel'sresponsibilities included creating and maintaining infrastructure tools and test frameworks for Oracle Cloud PaaS, as well as working as a Test Automation Engineer and functional QA member for Oracle's Cluster Verification Utility and Orachk/Exachk tool.

At Nybble Consulting Services, Israel worked as a Junior Software Developer from November 2010 to June 2011. In this role, they designed software solutions for clients, including the development of management and inventory management web tools for Mexican government organizations.

Israel's earlier experiences include working as a Web Developer at Clicker 360 from January 2010 to November 2010, an Intern at IBM de México from July 2009 to April 2010, and a Campus Ambassador at Sun Microsystems from May 2008 to December 2008. At IBM, their responsibilities included applying patches to remote servers and developing scripts to retrieve information and generate reports.

Throughout their career, Israel Segundo has gained experience in various technologies and frameworks, including Java, Python, Flask, TestNG, Jenkins, Selenium, Perl, Bash, PHP, MySQL, IIS, Tomcat, and Struts 2 Framework.

Israel Segundo attended Tecnológico de Monterrey from 2006 to 2011, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science. Israel later pursued their Master of Science degree in Computer Science from the same institution, from 2017 to 2019. In addition to their degrees, Segundo also obtained certifications such as the Oracle Certified Professional, Java EE 5 Web Component Developer from Oracle Corporation in November 2010, and the Sun Certified Programmer for the Java Platform, Standard Edition 6 from Sun Microsystems in November 2009.
