Jerod Maurer

Jerod Maurer is a seasoned professional in the energy sector with extensive experience in natural gas pricing and sales support. Currently serving as a Natural Gas Pricing Specialist at Direct Energy Business since July 2022, Jerod is responsible for maintaining accurate Cost of Gas (COG) generation and providing expertise on Local Distribution Company (LDC) tariff provisions. Previously, Jerod held the position of Pricing & Hedge Portfolio Analyst at Volunteer Energy, where responsibilities included retail natural gas pricing, commodity and basis hedging, and various reporting functions. Additional roles span across Exelon Energy as a Senior Fuels Analyst and in various capacities at Direct Energy Business, showcasing a well-rounded skill set in pricing, sales support, and market analysis from foundational positions beginning in 1994.
