Mike Janes

Mike Janes has extensive work experience in various roles and industries. Mike started their career in 1990 as a Corporate Banking Analyst at First Interstate Bank, where they analyzed credit data and prepared risk assessment reports. Mike then worked as an Entertainment Banking Officer at The Private Bank of California from 1991 to 1993. From 1993 to 1995, they served as a Business Analyst in Corporate Finance at Quantum Health Resources, Inc.

In 1995, Janes joined Frank, Rimerman + Co. LLP as a Senior Project Manager, where they oversaw client projects and implemented operational strategies. After that, they worked at IDEO, a global design and innovation consultancy, from 1998 to 2006. In this role, they planned and directed global business development and raised the use of analytic tools.

From 2006 to 2011, Janes was Vice President of Sales at The Peninsula Group, Inc., where they generated $30M annually by designing operating models and acquiring new business accounts. Lastly, they held multiple positions at Direct Line Global from 2011 onwards, including SVP of Strategy and Development, Senior Vice President of Sales, and VP of Business Development and Data Center Design. Following that, from 1984 to 1989, they pursued a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Accounting and Finance from San Diego State University. Later, in 2004 and 2005, Mike attended the University of San Francisco School of Management and earned an Executive MBA with a focus on Finance, General.

In addition to their formal education, Mike Janes holds several certifications. Mike obtained a Microsoft SQL Server certification from Microsoft in August 1998. Mike also possesses a California Real Estate License from the Bureau Of Real Estate. Moreover, they completed the Microsoft Dynamics ERP CRM Expert certification from Microsoft.
