Elmar Grobbelaar

Elmar Grobbelaar serves as the CFO and Executive Head of Finance, Risk, and Compliance at Direct Transact since April 2020, while also holding non-executive director responsibilities at Green Deeds Recycling since March 2019 and a board member position at Child Welfare Tshwane since March 2011. Previously, Grobbelaar was the Chief Operations Officer at BSG from April 2019 to March 2020 and served as Chief Financial Officer at Foundry Metals South Africa and Europ Assistance South Africa in 2016 and 2015 respectively. Additional experience includes the role of Group Financial Director at Waxbill Capital from 2011 to 2015, Chief Financial Officer at Natsure, and various positions with Brikor Ltd and Credit U Financial Services from 2007 to 2011. Grobbelaar holds a CA (SA) designation from the South African Institute of Chartered Accountants since 2003 and a BCompt (Hons) in Accounting and Finance from the University of South Africa obtained in 2001.
