Courtney Flickinger

Courtney Flickinger is an experienced communications professional currently serving as an Adjunct Instructor for Introduction to Human Communication at Kent State University since August 2024. With a background in communications, Courtney has held positions as a Communications Specialist and Intern at Direction Home Akron Canton Area Agency on Aging & Disabilities since August 2019. Previous roles include Social Media + PR at The Graduate School of The University of Akron, Guest Service Representative at Holiday Inn Express, and Food Service and Social Media at GRAZERS LLC. In June 2017, Courtney was a Student Researcher at Kent State University, contributing to award-winning research on Sustainable Aviation Fuels in the Great Lakes Region. Educated at The University of Akron, Courtney holds a Master’s degree in Strategic Communication and a certificate in Health & Crisis Communication, as well as a Bachelor of Arts in Public Communication and a minor in Aviation/Airway Management and Operations from Kent State University.
