Gaute Bjørklund Wangen

Gaute Bjørklund Wangen is a seasoned professional with a robust background in information security and technology. As the Chief Technology Officer and main founder of Diri AS since May 2020, Gaute leads research and development, product vision, and technology strategy. Concurrently, Gaute serves as an Associate Professor at the Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU) since April 2013, specializing in cyber risk management and security auditing, alongside supervising undergraduate and graduate students. Other roles at NTNU include Assistant Professor, Senior Advisor for the Digital Security Section, and Postdoc in information security management and risk assessments. Gaute's prior experience includes a specialist role in information security at Helse Sør-Øst RHF and various positions at Gjøvik University College, including a BSc and MSc in Information Security. Educational qualifications include a PhD in Computer and Information Systems Security from NTNU, along with earlier studies in engineering preparation and sports at Sør-Trøndelag University College and Oppdal videregående skole.
