Joao Ferreira

Joao Ferreira, PMP®, currently serves as an Associate Project Director at Diriyah Company since September 2021, contributing to the Wadi Safar Project, part of the ambitious Diriyah Gate Project in Saudi Arabia. Previously, Joao held the position of Senior Project Manager at Public Works Authority ‘Ashghal’ in Qatar for a brief tenure, and as a Senior Project Manager at Egis, overseeing key highway projects. Prior experiences include serving as Project Manager at KBR, Inc., focusing on major infrastructure improvements in Qatar, and as Construction Manager at Odebrecht Engenharia & Construção, managing extensive construction projects across the UAE. Joao began their career in construction management roles in Portugal, overseeing multiple highway and road maintenance contracts. Joao Ferreira graduated with a Civil Engineer degree from the Science and Technology University of Coimbra.
