Douglas Gauld

Douglas Gauld has extensive work experience in project and design management, particularly in the areas of infrastructure, MEP, retail, and data centers. Douglas served as a Senior Project Director at Diriyah Gate Development Authority, where they led a team in the delivery of multi-billion dollar projects for power, water, IT, and telecommunications services. Prior to that, they worked as a Project Director at Majid Al Futtaim, overseeing MEP projects. Douglas also held the position of Project Manager and Head of Technical Design Department at Gulf Related, where they managed the design of a $2 billion retail, residential, hotel, and office development. Douglas has international experience, having worked in Qatar as a Senior Project Manager for Al Waab City and in the UAE as a Senior Project Manager for ARCADIS Gulf. Before that, they worked as an Associate and Group Leader at Hoare Lea in the UK and Europe. Their expertise includes design management, procurement, contract delivery, and client interface.

Douglas Gauld pursued a Bachelor of Science Honors degree in Building Environmental Engineering from the University of Bath from 1984 to 1989.
