Adam Svendsen

Adam Svendsen has an extensive work experience spanning over several companies and roles. Adam most recently held the position of VP, IT & Business Systems at DIS - CREADIS Engineering Solutions & Consulting since 2023. Prior to that, they served as the Global CIO at Bolia.com from 2016 to 2023, where they were responsible for the IT strategy and IT architecture with a focus on customer and omni-channel initiatives. From 2011 to 2016, Adam worked at Arla Foods amba, first as the CISO and Head of Information Security, where they oversaw global IT security, policies, and structures. Adam also held various managerial roles within Arla Foods, including Senior Manager, Offshore Delivery Manager, and IT Business Manager. Before joining Arla Foods, Adam held the position of IT and E-commerce Director at MarcoPolo and MyPlanet, served as CIO at ASB, and worked as an IT Development Manager at MyPlanet. Their earlier experiences include roles at Berlingske, Århus Stiftstidende, University of Southern Denmark, and JF-Fabriken, Sonderborg as a Project Manager, Key Account Manager, IT Manager, and Engineer respectively.

Adam Svendsen's education history begins in 1985 when they attended Sønderborg Statsskole as a student, specializing in the fields of Mathematics and Social Sciences. Adam completed their studies there in 1988. After this, they enrolled at Syddansk Universitet - University of Southern Denmark in 1990 and spent six years completing a diploma in Product Development and Design. In 2000, Adam Svendsen joined VIA University College and pursued a degree in Engineering Business Administration, which they successfully completed in 2004. Adam then took part in executive education at the Indian Institute of Management Bangalore in 2014, where they focused on Embedding Leadership Excellence.
