Troels Kanstrup

Troels Kanstrup is a highly experienced Senior Mechanical Engineer at Dansk IngeniørService A/S since January 2013, specializing in offshore wind energy projects, including the design of substations and floating turbine foundations, as well as large casting components. With over a decade in the wind industry, Troels has demonstrated expertise in structural design, stakeholder collaboration, and project management. Prior roles include Structural Design Specialist at Suzlon Wind Energy A/S, focusing on the structural integrity of wind turbine blades through finite element methods, and teaching instrumentation and regulation at the Engineering College of Aarhus. Troels holds a Master of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from Aarhus University and an M.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering from the Aarhus School of Engineering.
