Suzanne Herbst

Suzanne Herbst is a skilled Disability Rights Advocate at the disAbility Law Center of Virginia since July 2019, specializing in representative payee reviews and leading communications initiatives. Previously, Suzanne served as a Program Support Assistant at The Shepherd's Center of Chesterfield, providing administrative support and managing database maintenance. Experience as a Bookseller at Barnes & Noble included customer engagement and event planning. Early roles as a Docent at the Allen Memorial Art Museum involved creating educational tours, while positions as a Resident Assistant and Lead Resident Assistant at Oberlin College focused on community building and student support. Suzanne holds a Master's degree in Nonprofit Studies from the University of Richmond and a Bachelor of Arts in English from Oberlin College.
