Mickie Dye

Mickie Dye is a seasoned healthcare professional with extensive experience in nursing and advocacy for crime victims. Currently serving as the SAFE Coordinator for the Advocacy Center for Crime Victims and Children since September 2020, Mickie oversees the SAFE program across six counties. In addition, Mickie has been a Medical Administrative Assistant at the same organization since November 2018, managing administrative tasks to support survivors of sexual assault. As a Forensic Nurse Examiner at Advocacy Center Waco since September 2010, Mickie provides care to victims while collecting crucial evidence and offering expert testimony. Previous roles include RN Charge Nurse at Providence Health Center and Lieutenant-Paramedic with Dallas Fire Rescue. Mickie holds a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from The University of Texas at Arlington and has also completed an Associate of Science in Registered Nursing from Mclennan Community College. Additional qualifications include training as an Advanced Paramedic from UT Southwestern Medical Center.
