Fred Dangar

Fred Dangar has a diverse work experience spanning several industries and positions. Fred most recently served as the Chief Operating Officer at Disaster Relief Australia starting in October 2023. Prior to this, they held the position of General Manager Personnel Capability at the same company from June 2023 to October 2023.

Before joining Disaster Relief Australia, Fred worked at the University of New England as a Senior Project Manager from September 2021 to June 2023.

Fred also served at NSW TrainLink, where they held the role of Director Strategic Business Programs from April 2019 to September 2021. Prior to this, they were the Director Business Strategy and Performance from October 2017 to March 2019.

Fred's professional journey also includes a role at Transport for NSW as a Principal Manager from September 2014 to September 2017.

Fred'sextensive experience in the government sector includes working at the Department of Defence of Australia as a Director of Human Resource Management. During this time, Fred held various responsibilities related to operational planning, training systems development, international relations, disaster relief coordination, project management, governance architecture, and personnel management. Fred worked at the Department of Defence from January 1983 to September 2013.

Fred Dangar has a diverse education history. Fred holds a Master's degree in International Relations and Affairs from Deakin University. In addition, they have a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in History and English from UNSW. Fred also possesses a Graduate Diploma in Strategic Studies from the University of Malaysia. Furthermore, they have completed LEAN for Senior Managers coursework at the University of South Australia.

In terms of additional certifications, Fred obtained a Prosci Change management (ADKAR) practitioner certification from Prosci in December 2016. Fred also holds a Cert IV - Training and Assessment, although the institution where they obtained this certification is unknown. Fred has also completed Level One of Organisational Coaching from the Institute of Executive Coaching and Leadership (IECL).
