Gene Lichtman

Gene Lichtman has a diverse work experience in information technology and leadership roles. Gene is currently serving as the Head of Information Technology at Disc Medicine since 2022. Prior to this, they held the position of Senior Director of Enterprise Architecture at Acceleron Pharma from 2021 to 2022.

From 2020 to 2021, Lichtman worked as the CEO/Principal Consultant at Village & Court. Gene also served as the Head of Information Technology at Synlogic, Inc. from 2018 to 2020.

Before these roles, Lichtman had significant experience in healthcare and clinical research organizations. Gene was the Chief Information Officer at Baim Institute for Clinical Research from 2013 to 2018. Prior to that, they held the position of Senior Director of Information Technology at Harvard Clinical Research Institute from 2012 to 2013.

Gene Lichtman attended the University of Massachusetts Amherst from 1982 to 1985. During their time there, they pursued a Bachelor of Arts degree in Journalistic Studies.
