Sai Venkataraman

Sai Venkataraman has a diverse work experience in various roles and industries. Sai is currently the Co-Founder and CEO of Discern Security, where they are involved in building the cybersecurity mesh and implementing AI-enabled Universal Policy Management. Prior to this, they served as an Investor and Advisor at AvatarLife and as a Board Member at AutoVisas Inc., a pioneering Immigration Legal Tech firm. Sai also worked as a Bain External Advisor at Bain & Company and as the Co-Founder and CEO of SecurityAdvisor, which was acquired by KnowBe4. In their role at SecurityAdvisor, they created the HDR category and provided real-time cybersecurity guidance to end users. Sai was also a member of the Forbes Technology Council and served as the Vice President at Fortscale, leading OEM deals and contributing to the company's M&A strategy. Sai held the position of Director, Product Management for Cloud + Pervasive Data Protection at Intel Corporation. Earlier in their career, Sai worked as a Manager at Bain & Company, advising Fortune 500 clients on various strategic issues, particularly in the technology, media, and telecom industry. Sai began their professional journey as a Summer Associate at Unilever.

Sai Venkataraman has a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree from the Indian Institute of Management Ahmedabad, which was obtained from 2006 to 2008. In 2007, Sai also studied economics and management as an exchange student at the University of Cologne. Prior to these experiences, Sai completed a Bachelor of Engineering (B.E.) in Electronics and Communication at Anna University. Additionally, Sai completed high school at Vidya Mandir Mylapore, earning an AISSCE qualification.
