Luke Perdue

Luke Perdue is a seasoned privacy and data protection professional with extensive experience in the field. Currently serving as the Data Protection Officer at Discord since April 2024, Luke previously held roles as Senior Privacy Manager and Privacy Manager at Discord from January 2022 to February 2024. Prior to that, Luke was the Privacy Program Manager at Facebook, where responsibilities included leading privacy reviews for major messaging platforms and ensuring compliance with global privacy regulations. Luke's career also includes experience at PwC in cybersecurity and privacy, legal roles with the US Army and Philip C. Cook Low-Income Taxpayer Clinic, and early experience in account management and IT recruitment. Luke holds a Juris Doctor from Georgia State University College of Law and a Bachelor’s degree in Political Science from the University of Central Florida.
