Ian Chen

Ian Chen is the Co-Founder and CEO of Discotech. Ian has over 10 years of experience in the technology and private equity industries.

Ian started their career as an Associate Consultant Intern at Bain & Company in 2007. Ian then worked as an Associate Consultant at Bain from 2008 to 2010, before moving to The Gores Group in 2010. At The Gores Group, Ian was responsible for portfolio company financial and operational due diligence activities, as well as portfolio company oversight.

In 2012, Ian co-founded Discotech, a mobile app that allows users to find clubs, book tables, and get on guestlists for nightclubs around the world. Under Ian's leadership, Discotech has become the go-to platform for nightlife bookings, with over 500,000 users in 100+ cities worldwide.

Ian Chen received a B.S. in Business Administration and Industrial Engineering Operations Research from the University of California, Berkeley.
