Christine Strong

Christine ("Christy") Strong serves as Associate General Counsel and Vice President at Discover Financial Services, specializing in executive compensation and employee benefits since October 2023. Prior to this role, Strong worked at Regions Bank for a decade as Assistant General Counsel and Senior Vice President, also focusing on executive compensation and employee benefits. Earlier in their career, Strong was a Shareholder at Maynard, Cooper & Gale, P.C., where the same areas of expertise were applied from September 1999 to June 2013. Strong holds a Doctor of Law (JD) from The University of Alabama School of Law, obtained in 1999, and a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from Vanderbilt University, completed in 1991.
