Danyun Wang

Danyun (Echo) Wang is an accomplished data science professional currently serving as Principal Data Scientist at Discover Financial Services since February 2022. Prior to this role, Danyun held positions at CME Group focusing on Pricing and Valuation from January 2021 to February 2022 and managed Financial Settlement and Risk at Nanhua USA LLC from March 2018 to January 2021. Earlier career experiences include working as a Data Analyst during a practicum at Oberweis Asset Management in 2017 and an internship in the Unclaimed Property Division of the Illinois State Treasurer's Office in August 2015. Danyun holds a Master’s degree in Financial Mathematics from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign and a Bachelor’s degree in Finance from Renmin University of China.
