Jay Richards

Jay Richards serves as the Director of the DeVos Center for Life, Religion, and Family and the William E. Simon Senior Research Fellow at The Heritage Foundation since August 2021. Additionally, Jay has been the Executive Editor for The Stream since June 2014, focusing on freedom, smaller government, and human dignity. With extensive experience at the Discovery Institute since June 1998, Jay holds the position of Senior Fellow and has contributed as a writer and public speaker. Jay's prior roles include Vice President and Assistant Research Professor at The Catholic University of America, as well as hosting "A Force for Good" on EWTN. Holding a Ph.D. in philosophy and theology from Princeton Theological Seminary, Jay also holds multiple master's degrees and a bachelor's in Political Science and Religion from Southwestern University.
