Carla Katz

Carla Katz has extensive experience in educational and experiential roles within the museum and zoological sectors. Currently serving as Manager of Museum Experiences at Discovery Place since June 2010, Carla has also held positions as Coordinator of Early Childhood and Educator during this tenure. Prior experience includes working as a Zoologist at Maymont and as a Temporary Keeper at North Carolina Zoological Park. Carla holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Zoology with a focus on Animal Science from North Carolina State University, earned between 2003 and 2006.
