Kirsten M. Mahuta

Kirsten M. Mahuta is an experienced educator and professional with a background in chemical and biomolecular engineering. Currently, Kirsten serves as a High School Teacher at University Lake School since October 2017 and as a Lab Educator at Discovery World since April 2016. Prior experience includes working as a Food Scientist at PS Seasoning & Spices from October 2014 to January 2016, where responsibilities involved researching and developing seasoning blends for industrial culinary manufacturing. Kirsten also held roles as a Secretarial Assistant at Milwaukee School of Engineering from September 2009 to May 2014, and as a Research Assistant at the Biotechnology & Bioengineering Center of the Medical College of Wisconsin during the summers of 2011 and 2012. Kirsten earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering from Milwaukee School of Engineering and studied Theology at Capernwray College.
