Jim Kraftchak, PMP has over 25 years of experience in the IT industry. Jim began their career in 1979 as a Project Development Officer in the United States Air Force, where they managed all enlisted personnel within the division and received the Air Force Achievement Medal for development of the Flying Hours Cost Justification System. In 1983, they joined Advanced Technology, Inc. as a Senior Programmer/Analyst, where they served as task leader for development and implementation of automated systems on a variety of systems. In 1984, they moved to Vanguard Technology, Inc. as the Small Systems Group Manager, where they designed, implemented and managed the micro and mini computer based user information center. In 1987, they joined Network Management, Inc. as Programming Manager, where they managed a team of financial system programmers and analysts, and successfully acted as the "troubleshooter" for the Vice President of Operations. In 1993, they joined Ray Communications, Inc. as Manager of Programming Services, where they managed the design and implementation of a computer-based financial model system in Microsoft Access utilizing object oriented programming methodologies. In 1996, they joined Cylab Inc. as Director of Systems Development, where they developed over $1.5 million dollars worth of new business within a single Government agency, and worked directly with the company president to define the strategic direction of the company. Finally, in 2004, they joined Distributed Solutions as a Project Manager.
Jim Kraftchak, PMP, earned a Bachelor's degree in Business Management from American InterContinental University between 2002 and 2004.
