Douglas McCoy M.D.

Douglas McCoy, MD MBA has extensive work experience in the field of psychiatry. Douglas began their career in 1991 with the State of Missouri, where they worked as a Psychiatrist for 24 years until 2015. During this time, they also started their own private practice, Douglas McCoy.MD LLC, where they worked as a Private Psychiatrist from 1994 to 2001. Additionally, they served as the Medical Director for Public Health of Green Co, IL from 1996 to 1999. In 2015, they joined District Medical Group of Arizona, Inc. as a Staff Psychiatrist and Assistant Director of Medical Student Education.

Douglas McCoy, MD MBA, obtained their Bachelor of Science degree in Zoology, Botany, Philosophy, and Chemistry from Eastern Illinois University, where they studied from 1982 to 1986. Douglas then pursued their Doctor of Medicine (MD) at Southern Illinois University School of Medicine from 1986 to 1990. Following that, they completed a Psychiatry Residency Program at Washington University School of Medicine in St. Louis from 1990 to 1994, earning the degree of Medical Doctor. To further expand their knowledge and skills, they pursued a Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Business Administration, Management, and Operations from Fontbonne University, which they successfully completed from 1996 to 1999.
