Julie Wengi

Julie Wengi is an experienced professional in human resources and community planning, currently serving as the General Manager of Community Planning and Sustainability for the District of Squamish since March 2022. Previous roles include Director of Human Resources at the BC Teachers' Federation and Executive Director of Human Resources and Workplace Health at the Provincial Health Services Authority. Julie has held various leadership positions focusing on health, safety, and operational support in organizations such as Whistler Sport Legacies and the Vancouver Organizing Committee for the 2010 Olympic and Paralympic Winter Games. Academically, Julie holds a Master's degree in Human Resource Management from UNSW and degrees in Psychology from the University of Sydney.
