Jordi Chacón Chacón

Director of Engineering & Engineering Manager at Distru

Jordi Chacón Chacón is the current Director of Engineering & Engineering Manager at Distru. Prior to this, they were a Lead Software Engineer at Klarna AB from September 2009 to June 2015. In this role, they were responsible for leading the team that developed the backend for Klarna's Buy Now Pay Later product. From May 2015 to February 2019, Jordi was a Co-founder & Software Engineer at Enjo, where they Mental well-being for parents. Jordi's main responsibility was to design and implement Enjo's backend, written on Elixir and running on AWS ECS. Enjo was featured by the Apple App Store in 10 countries, including the US, UK, Canada and India ("New Apps We Love" & "This Week's Favourites"). Jordi has also been featured in Buzzfeed, Quartz, Axios. In early 2019 Enjo was acquired by Swedish digital health provider Kry. Prior to their work at Enjo, Jordi was a Researcher at Elastix Corporation from July 2008 to May 2009 and a Junior Software Engineer at Telefonica R&D from February 2008 to June 2008. Jordi began their career as a System Administrator at T-Systems from June 2007 to December 2007.

Jordi Chacón Chacón has a master's degree in computer engineering from Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya, and has also attended San Jose Obrero and San Jose Obrero.
