Luke Connolly

Luke Connolly has a diverse work experience ranging from co-founding dating platforms to freelance presenting and hosting events. In 2020, they co-founded Ditto, a video-first dating platform aimed at eliminating common issues in online dating. Luke also co-founded Isodate, an exclusive event platform for dating without pandemic fears, from 2020 to 2022.

Before their entrepreneurial ventures, Luke worked as a freelance presenter starting in 2010. Luke hosted and MCed various events, showcasing their journalism and broadcast skills.

Luke also worked in the e-sports industry as an E-Sports Host and Caster from 2016 to 2020, covering national championships and being featured in media outlets like TSN and the Toronto Star.

In 2015, Luke founded LukeVsLife, a website offering motivational content and advice.

Luke has also worked with notable companies such as Match, hosting IRL events, lululemon athletica as a presenter for community-driven events, TSN as a soccer analyst and statistician during the Euro 2016 cup, Loblaw Companies Limited as a host at the 'PC Insiders Boutique', Ubisoft as a presenter at the Eurogamer (EGX) Games Expo, and Samsung as a presenter and event manager at Crufts.

Luke Connolly attended Hagley RC High School from 2005 to 2007, where they obtained three A levels in Law, Business, and Psychology. Following that, they pursued a 2.1 BA Hons Journalism and Media Joint Honours degree at Worcester University from 2007 to 2010. During this time, they studied Journalism, Media, English, and Maths. In 2010, they furthered their education at Sutton Coldfield College, where they obtained an NCTJ qualification in Journalism in 2011.
