Denis Hernandez

Denis Hernandez has a strong background in finance and operations. Denis worked at DIUNSA Distribuciones Universales S.A. for many years, starting as the Contralor General in 1999. In this role, they developed and implemented control and evaluation systems to ensure the company's goals and objectives were met. Denis also conducted financial and operational audits and presented activity reports. In 2014, Denis became the Director Ejecutivo at DIUNSA, where they were responsible for various areas including technology, credits and collections, security, maintenance, inventories, and projects. Denis also reported the results to the Executive President. In 2018, Denis was promoted to Vice-Presidente de Operaciones at DIUNSA, a role they currently hold. Prior to joining DIUNSA, Denis worked as an Oficial de Negocios at Banco de el Ahorro Hondureño.

Denis Hernandez completed their education journey with a focus on business and finance. From 1985 to 1987, they attended Instituto Debe y Haber and obtained a degree in Perito Mercantil y Contador Publico, specializing in Finanzas. Following that, they pursued further education at UNAH VS from 1988 to 1992, where they obtained a degree in LAE (Administracion de Empresas), specializing in Business Administration.
