Chris Van Rynbach has a diverse work experience in procurement and supply chain management. Chris started their career at Guilford Mills as a Six-Sigma Intern, where they successfully achieved a 25% reduction in waste. Chris then worked as a Supply Chain Analyst, developing a supplier database and maintaining purchase order files. Later, they became a Supply Chain Quality Analyst, collaborating with commodity directors and maintaining the Supplier Scorecard database.
Following their time at Guilford Mills, Chris joined Team Connection as an Operations Manager, where they coordinated daily operations and managed production, warehouse operations, and inventory accuracy. Chris also played a role in furthering the company's growth and effectiveness.
After that, Chris joined Sonic Automotive as a Supplier Enablement Lead. In this role, they co-managed the implementation of Coupa Spend Management's PO and Invoice Modules and strategically managed vendors to reduce operating costs.
Most recently, Chris has been working at Diversey as a Procurement Director. Chris has held various roles within the company, including Senior Manager, Procurement for Global Nonwovens, Procurement Manager for North America Contract Manufacturing, and Procurement Analyst for Packaging and Contract Manufacturing. Currently, Chris serves as the Procurement Director for North America Logistics and Transportation.
Chris Van Rynbach, CPSM, holds a Bachelor of Business Administration (B.B.A.) degree in Operations Management from the University of North Carolina Wilmington, obtained between 2008 and 2012. Additionally, in 2010, they pursued studies in Management, Marketing, and Pacific History at the University of Wollongong. In 2022, Chris obtained the Certified Professional in Supply Management (CPSM) certification from the Institute for Supply Management.
