Nick Mallare

Nick Mallare is the current Chief Technical Officer at DivvyHQ. Nick has also worked as a Senior Software Engineer at The Nerdery from October 2014 to December 2015. Nick's other work experiences include being a Lead Engineer at BoatCrazy.com from March 2013 to June 2013, and they have also done consulting work for Adknowledge and Briefcase.

Nick has a wide range of skills, including experience in leading and mentoring on multi-million dollar projects, writing scopes, participating in company-wide initiatives and committees, and coding. Nick is also experienced in HTML, CSS, jQuery, MySQL, Memcached, SendGrid, and server and database administration.

Nick’s previous work at BoatCrazy.com involved making sure everything works smoothly when people visit and interact with the site. This included everything from coding to server administration to database administration. Nick was also in charge of setting up feed parsing to accept data from third-party partners, re-working the Boat Search form to be more user-intuitive, correcting and adding table indices to improve site performance, adding a caching layer for search and boat details, implementing a database-driven template solution for editing of text and HTML emails, and doing various security and administrative upgrades.

They are on a team with and Andrea Coleman - CFO. Nick Mallare reports to Brock Stechman, Co-Founder.
