Jay Denniston, CFS has extensive work experience in various scientific roles. Jay is currently the Chief Scientist of Product Development and Innovation at BellRock Brands, where they oversee research operations and ensures they align with the organization's goals. Prior to this, Jay served as the Director of Science at Dixie Brands Inc., leading a team of scientists in developing cannabis-infused products. Jay has also worked as a Senior Analytical Chemist at CannLabs, Inc. and as the Director of Product Development and Innovation at Boreal Technologies. Additionally, Jay has held positions such as Director of Analytical Services at Full Spectrum Laboratories, Organic Chemistry Laboratory Director at Reservoirs Environmental, Forensic Toxicologist at the Travis County Medical Examiner's Office, and Chemist at both the State of Texas Commission on Environmental Quality and the State of Texas Department of Health. Jay Denniston, CFS, obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Biochemistry from the University of Texas at Austin in 1998. In November 2014, they received certification as a Certified Food Scientist (CFS) from the Institute of Food Technologists (IFT).
