Wendy Forgacs

Wendy Forgacs, SHRM-CP, has extensive human resources experience, currently serving as Corporate HR Specialist at Dixie Plywood & Lumber Company since April 2014. In this role, Wendy provides HR support for over 300 employees across 11 branches in 5 states, maintaining employee files, conducting E-Verify for new hires, overseeing benefits enrollment, and managing the hiring process. Prior to this, Wendy worked at Belk from October 2004 to April 2014 in various HR roles, including HR Associate, where responsibilities included onboarding and application review, Lead Scheduler, and Fine Jewelry Counter Manager, demonstrating a strong commitment to employee support and sales excellence. Wendy holds a Bachelor’s Degree in English and Paralegal Studies from Kent State University.
