Amanda Hays has a diverse work experience in the fields of design, art direction, and creative consulting. Amanda started their career as a Design Editor at The Chautuaquan Daily in 2013. Amanda then worked as an Art Director and Layout and Photo Editor at Fiat Lux Newspaper, The Official Student Newspaper at Alfred University from 2012 to 2014. Amanda also gained experience as a Graphic & Web Designer at CGI Communications from 2015 to 2017. Amanda later became a Web Designer at The Verdi Group from 2017 to 2019, where they developed email and landing page campaigns and revamped their online presence. Amanda worked as a Digital Designer at Dixon Schwabl Advertising from 2019 to 2020, collaborating on concepts and designing websites. In 2020, they took on roles as a Creative Consultant at Hays Design, where they built websites, created infographics, and conducted monthly photoshoots, and as a Freelance Art Director at Women's Foundation of Genesee Valley, where they created content for social media, developed campaigns, and enhanced the user experience of the auction platform. Currently, Amanda works as an Art Director at Dixon Schwabl + Company.
Amanda Hays attended Alfred University from the year 2010 to 2014, where they pursued a Bachelor of Fine Arts (B.F.A.) degree in Design and Photography.
