Alan Ogilvie

Alan Ogilvie has extensive work experience in product management and technical roles. Alan is currently serving as the Head of Product & Product Architecture at Dizplai, where they are responsible for implementing product management methods and leading the Product Management team. Alan is also working as a Product Strategy Consultant at Dizplai, helping identify challenges and opportunities within their customer base. Previously, Alan worked at Friend MTS as the Lead Product Manager, overseeing the development and implementation of product management methods and strategies. Alan also worked at Ooyala as a Global Solution Specialist and later as the Head of Technical Account Management, where they provided technical expertise to key customers and managed a team. Alan's experience also includes working at Skype as a Senior Program Manager, where they delivered Skype's first Video Messaging feature. Alan also had roles at the BBC, imagestate.com, Organic Inc, and Hyperlink Ltd, where they performed various technical and managerial responsibilities. Alan has a strong background in media delivery, technology platforms, and product management.

Alan Ogilvie attended Webster's High School from 1988 to 1994. In 1994, they started their Bachelor's Degree at The University of Edinburgh, where they studied Joint BSc (Hons) Artificial Intelligence and Computer Science. Alan completed their degree in 1998. In 2013, Alan obtained the Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO) certification from Scrum Alliance.
