Chaim Kirby

Chaim Kirby is an accomplished engineering leader with extensive experience in software development, compliance, and project management. Currently serving as the Head of Engineering & Compliance and Founding Engineer at Budgie Health, Chaim is also the President of the Board of Directors at the Django Software Foundation. Previous roles include significant contributions at PathAI as Principal Software Engineer, Commonwealth Informatics Inc as Principal Software Engineer, and The University of Chicago as Bioinformatics Project Manager and Software Lead. Chaim has demonstrated expertise in system design, architecture, and mentoring, as well as a strong background in open source projects. Educational qualifications include a BA and MA in Computer Science from Brandeis University and a JD from Suffolk University Law School.
